We are so lucky to have so many gorgeous locations for weddings, and Surf and Sand Hotel is one of the very best of the oceanfront wedding venues in Laguna Beach. Elizabeth and Jason's wedding and Surf and Sand shows just how amazing this beach wedding venue can be. The ocean views, the incredible sunset, and their vibrant florals made this wedding unbelievably beautiful. The bride and groom started their beautiful wedding day in the afternoon sun with the ocean waves crashing outside their windows at the Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach. We photographed the bride and groom separately so they could see each other for the first time as Elizabeth walked down the aisle. Jason's reaction to seeing his bride for the first time was so sweet and the bride and groom, along with their family all shed tears as the ceremony began. It is always a pleasure to witness and capture weddings, especially when we get to see so much emotion from everyone attending.


Following the ceremony we walked down to the beach at sunset for photos of the wedding party and the bride and groom. The ocean was gorgeous, along with the dramatic clouds in the sky, creating one of the most gorgeous sunsets over the pacific ocean. Southern California has great sunsets, but this was one for the books. Our photos with the couple were beautiful under that golden sunset. Their reception in the ballroom of Surf and Sand was full of life and so much dancing and love!
